Hollywood Foreign Press Association's 2011 Installation Luncheon - Presentation Of Grants
Leonardo DiCaprio has climbed into people's dreams, journeyed across the Atlantic on The Titanic, and lost his mind on Shuttler Island. His latest adventure: teaming up with Clint Eastwood to star as the FBI's founding director in the highly anticipated bioipic J. Edgar. And we have the trailer here.
Between Eastwood and DiCaprio, it's fair to assume the film will draw millions into theaters when its released November 9. While Eastwood hasn't always hit gold with his films, his directorial track record includes Oscar-winners Million Dollar Baby and Mystic River.
DiCaprio, meanwhile, hasn't released an unsuccessful movie in years. And having played a wide variety of roles, we have the fullest of faith in his ability to pull of J. Edgar Hoover.
The film will focus on FBI director's career, as well as his personal life as an alleged closeted homosexual. With a supporting cast that includes Naomi Watts and Judie Dench, the drama promises to contend come Oscar season.
